Valtournenche

Built 1,500 meters above sea level, Valtournenche is the main town and focal point of tourism in the Cervino Valley, with which it shares its name.

Among the numerous activities available, we recommend a visit to the Maison de l’Alpage, featuring a permanent exhibit dedicated to the area’s agricultural traditions.

Lodgers in the area cannot pass up the opportunity to make a stop in Cheneil, a secluded borough only reachable on foot or by means of a suggestive panoramic elevator, offering a unique view of the looming Cervino and the valley below.

Fans of mountain sports of all stripes will find in Valtournenche a perfect venue for their needs, with modern skiing facilities, snowparks, cutting-edge chairlifts, Alpine ski slopes – including an exclusive 7-km piste running 1,300 meters down the mountainside – and a snowtubing course for ski-less downhill fun.
